Churches Together in Congleton Prayer Calendar - June 2009

1. The meeting of the Methodist Circuit as they plan for the future in the Congleton area. 2. Students of all ages in this exam season – clarity of mind and a good memory! 3. All farmers and those working outdoors, and pray for agricultural chaplains. 4. For all who are spreading the Word – the meeting today of Methodist Preachers. 5. 7 – 9.30 pm at NLC....the Band With No Name. 6. Those involved in Summer events eg at Little Moreton Hall.
7. All families as they meet and eat together. 8. All on early morning duty - milkmen, postmen, policemen, etc. 9. The SPIRE Trust as they visit Daven School several days during the week. 10. All doctors and medical staff in clinics, hospitals, care homes and of course patients at home. 11. Corpus Christie... 7:30 Deanery Service at St. James. 12. Adullum Homes and all who work there in their underrated service. 13. All bereaved families, recent and longer-term as they accept and move on.
14. St. Peter's. Civic Service at 3PM with the Town Mayor. 15. St. Mary's CTC Monthly Prayer Meeting at 10am. 16. The Market Traders in their long hours of work. 17. All families with young children in their joys and stresses at times. 18. All who attended START and SHARE courses for growth and assurance. 19. Rock Solid group weekend at Cae Canal. Team Parish Leadership away day. 20. 1PM Wedding of Dian and George. Methodist Circuit Safari supper.
21. Visit of Andy Roberts - SAMS, working with street children. 22. All office staff working inside on hot days. 23. Our MP's and public servants - for honesty, integrity and a sense of service. 24. For all Home Cell Group leaders as they work with new Christians. 25. All social workers trying to untangle and ease tense situations. 26. The STOP DAY at CHS for enthusiasm from staff and students.

27. Contact Centre and all one parent families.

28. 2:30PM Songs of Praise at Applecroft - and pray for all Old People's Homes. 29. The long-term unemployed and those who seek to help them. 30. Our police, traffic wardens and community workers as they enable the smooth running of our town.
